Timeless Charm Birthday Card

This week’s Color Combo worked so well for this birthday card using the Timeless Charm Bundle. The colors are so bright and vibrant, perfect for these flowers.

 
 

The color combination that I used is from my Inspiration Calendar. This is a great set of colors. You can get my Inspiration Calendar each month when you subscribe to my email list.

Tips & Instructions

  • Poppy Parade Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4

  • Basic White - 5 1/2 x 4 1/4, cut using the largest Scalloped Contour Dies.

  • Cut 2 floral pieces from Gorgeous Grape.

  • Cut the center flower from Lemon Lime Twist and a second one from Poppy Parade. Snip the flowers from the stems on the Poppy Parade flower and adhere to the Lemon Lime Twist flower.

  • Stamp some greenery images with Lemon Lime Twist Ink on the white scalloped layer, stamping off first on scrap paper first to get a lighter shade. Adhere the flowers you cut to the white layer. You may have to snip the bottom off from the center flower.

  • Adhere white scalloped layer to card base.

  • Stamp sentiment on scrap of Basic White with Gorgeous Grape Ink and cut with the smallest Scalloped Contour Dies. I covered the part of the sentiment I didn’t want with a piece of Post-It Note when I inked it up and then removed the Post-It Note before stamping.

  • Adhere label to card with Dimensionals and add some Lemon Lime Twist Tinsel Gems.

 
 

I love that the dies cut the details on the flowers and leaves

 
 

On the inside layer stamp the sentiment with Gorgeous Grape Ink. The sentiment is from the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set. Stamp the greenery with Lemon Lime Twist stamping a second and third time without re-inking.

Sketch Challenge - Earthen Textures

For this week’s Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge I used the beautiful Earthen Elegance Products. I love the natural look of the Designer Series Paper in this suite.

Tips & Instructions

  • Crumb Cake Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4 (you can use any color because it is completely covered by the front layer.

  • Earthen Elegance Designer Series Paper - cut 3 pieces, 3 different patterns. (Tip - Lay the pieces on the card base to be sure everything is lined up and squared up.

    • Largest triangle - 5 1/2 x 4 1/4, then cut across at a diagonal, point to point.

    • Top piece - 5 1/2 x 2, adhere behind the large triangle piece.

    • Smallest triangle - about 3 1/2 x 2 1/2, adhere behind layer to fill in the last open area.

  • Adhere the layer to the card base.

  • Cut piece of Vellum Cardstock using the 2nd from largest Stylish Shapes Dies.

  • Cut vases from the Designer Series Paper using the Earthen Textures Dies. Cut the top piece and adhere to one of the vases.

  • Stamp Wheat on scrap of Basic White with Wild Wheat Ink. I stamped once and then a second time without re-inking to get two different shades. Cut using the coordinating dies. Adhere behind the vases.

  • .Adhere vases to vellum circle with Dimensionals and adhere the circle to the card.

  • Stamp sentiment on 1/2 strip of Basic White with Wild Wheat Ink and banner one end. Slip it behind the circle.

 
 

I love the textured look of the patterns in this paper pack. You want to touch it to see if you can feel the texture.

 
 

On the inside layer stamp the sentiment and pot with Copper Clay Ink. Stamp the wheat with Wild Wheat Ink. (Tip - cover the pot with a Post-It or scrap of paper so you can stamp the wheat without getting ink on the pot.)

Lazy Days Welcome Card

I made some Welcome Cards for my new neighbors using the Lazy Days Bundle. I moved into a townhouse with 4 units and I have a plant to give to my 3 neighbors as a welcome gift along with these cards.

I changed the colors for the chairs and sentiments on the cards but they are basically made the same way.

 
 

The chair and sentiment for this first one are done with Parakeet Party. I colored the planter with Pebbled Path and Light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.

On the inside I stamped the chair with Parakeet Party Ink and the hanging plant with Black Memento Ink. The planter was colored with Azure Afternoon and the plant with Light Granny Apple Green Ink.

 
 

Tips & Instructions

  • Azure Afternoon Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4

  • Basic White Layer - 4 1/2 x 3 1/2

  • Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper - 4 1/8 x 3 1/8

  • Basic White - cut the valance piece and then cut to 4 1/8 x 3 1/8. Adhere to the Designer Series Paper.

  • Cut rocking chair from a scrap of Melon Mambo using the Lazy Afternoon Dies. Adhere to layer.

  • Stamp hanging plant with Black Memento Ink and color pot with Melon Mambo and Light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers. Cut with coordinating die and adhere to layer so it hangs from the valance.

  • Stamp sentiment on 1/4 strip of Basic White with Melon Mambo Ink and trim each end at an angle. Adhere to card with Dimensionals.

  • Adhere layer to white layer and then to card base.

 
 

For this card I used Coastal Cabana for the rocking chair and the welcome sentiment. The planter was stamped with Black Memento Ink and colored with Crumb Cake and Light Granny Apply Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.

Sketch Saturday - Circle Sayings

Today’s card is a fun birthday card using the Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper and Circle Sayings Stamp Set. I made it for the weekly Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.

 
 

Here’s the sketch that for this week’s challenge. When I saw the banners, I knew I wanted to use the Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper.

 
 

Tips & Instructions

  • Berry Burst Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4

  • Basic White Layer - 5 1/4 x 4, adhere to card base.

  • Cut 3 banner mats from Berry Burst Cardstock. I cut two at 1 3/4 wide and one at 1 1/2 wide. Cut banner the bottom of each.

  • Cut 3 banners from Bright & Bold Designer Series Paper using different patterns. I cut two at 1 5/8 wide and one at 1 3/8 wide. Cut banner at the bottom of each. Adhere to the banner mat pieces.

  • Lay banners on card at different heights and cut off tops if needed.

  • Stamp sentiment on Basic White with Night of Navy. Cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies.

  • Stamp cupcake with Night of Navy Ink and color with Stampin’ Blends. I used Light Bubble Bath and Light Azure Afternoon. Add some Wink Of Stella to the frosting.

  • Punch piece of Berry Burst using the Decorative Circle Punch. Adhere stamped circle to Berry Burst and adhere to card with Dimensionals.

  • Add some Berry Burst Tinsel Gems.

 
 

On the inside layer stamp sentiment with Night of Navy Ink and the bursts with Berry Burst Ink. Add a 4 x 3/4 strip of Designer Series Paper to the bottom.

 
 

The Berry Burst mats for the banners really makes them pop!!!

Back Fold Fun Fold Cards

I have a video for you to demonstrate how to make Back Fold Fun Fold Cards. They are simple and you can play around with whatever patterned paper you want. I used the Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper for mine.

This first card is the one I made on the video. The card base is Berry Burst and I used some Lemon Lime Twist Ribbon from the Ribbon Duo Pack.

 
 
 
 

This card has a Night Of Navy Card Base and the Night Of Navy Bordered Ribbon. I think this is my favorite pattern in the Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper pack.

Rhino Ready - Cute Kid Birthday Card

The Rhino Ready Stamp Set has such cute images. I made this for my grandson’s 8th birthday next week. Keegan loves jungle animals so I think he will be happy when he opens the envelope.

  • Lost Lagoon Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4

  • Basic White Layer - 5 1/4 x 4, adhere to card base.

  • Pool Party Layer 5 1/8 x 3 7/8, emboss using the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder and adhere to card.

  • Cut Basic White Layer using the Deckled Rectangle Dies.

  • Stamp the rhino with Black Memento Ink on the white layer. Color using Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends. Color the bird with Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends. Stamp grass with Lost Lagoon Ink. I masked the rhino to stamp the grass around it.

  • Stamp the sentiment with Calypso Coral Ink.

  • Adhere layer to card using a piece of Adhesive Foam or Dimensionals.

  • Add some Pool Party Glossy Dots.

 
 

On the inside layer stamp Rhino and bird with Black Memento Ink. Color rhino with Smoky Slate and bird with Calypso Coral Stampin’ Blends. Stamp sentiment with Calypso Coral Ink.

Sketch Challenge - One Horse Open Sleigh

I used the new One Horse Open Sleigh Designer Series Paper for this week’s Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge. This paper has beautiful winter scenes.

Tips & Instructions

  • Misty Moonlight Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4

  • Basic White Layer - emboss using the dots folder from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders.

  • Wrap piece of Gold Trim around the embossed layer twice and adhere to the back. Adhere layer to card base.

  • Cut Designer Series Paper to 4 1/4 x 3 1/4 and then cut the curve. I used a die from the Around The Bend Dies. You can use anything that’s round to draw a line and then fussy cut. Adhere to the card

  • Stamp sentiment from the Brightest Glow Stamp Set with Versamark Ink and then heat emboss with Gold Embossing Powder. Cut to side and adhere using Dimensionals.

  • Tie bow with Gold Trim and adhere with a Mini Glue Dot.

  • Add some Gold Adhesive-Backed Snowflakes

 
 

On the inside layer stamp sentiment with Versamark and heat emboss with Gold Embossing Powder. Add a Gold Snowflake.

Delightfully Eclectic - Just A Note

The Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper has so many fun patterns. I used the striped and floral patterns for this sweet card.

 
 

It’s so cool that you can use the punches from the Inked & Tiled Punch Pack to punch out the shapes from the sheet of paper that I used.

Tips & Instructions

  • Thick Basic White Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4

  • Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper (striped) - 5 1/4 x 4, adhere to card base.

  • Garden Green Strip - 5 1/4 x 1 3/4, emboss using the crosshatch Basics 3D Embossing Folder. Adhere to card.

  • Punch 3 of the flowers using the Inked & Tiled Punch. Adhere to green layer using Dimensionals. (Tip - adhere the middle one first to be sure they are all balanced across.)

  • Stamp sentiment on 1/2” strip of Basic White with Garden Green Ink. Trim both ends at an angle and adhere to card with Dimensionals.

  • Add some Pretty Peacock Tinsel Gems.

Sketch Saturday - Textured Floral

For this week’s sketch challenge, I made a slimline card using the Textured Floral Bundle. There’s lots of flowers, which I love and a sweet sentiment.

 
 

The sketch I used is from the weekly Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.

 
 

Tips & Instructions

  • Blackberry Bliss Card Base - 8 1/2 x 7, score at 3 1/2 (on the 7 side)

  • Basic White Layer - 8 1/4 x 3 1/4, splatter Blackberry Bliss Ink on the layer using a marker (Stampin’ Write or Stampin’ Bends) by flicking the brush end off the cap. Adhere to card base.

  • Stamp 2 large flowers on Basic White with Melon Mambo Ink, stamping off first on scrap and then stamp the center with Melon Mambo Ink directly. Cut using the coordinating die.

  • Stamp 3 medium flowers with Blackberry Bliss Ink. Stamp centers with Daffodil Delight Ink. Cut with coordinating die.

  • Stamp 2 large sets of leaves with Granny Apple Green Ink and cut with coordinating die. Cut these leaves apart so you can fit them in around the flowers.

  • Cut greenery pieces - 3 from Basic White, 3 from Mossy Meadow and 2 from Shaded Spruce

  • Stamp sentiment with Blackberry Bliss Ink on a 3 1/4 x 1 strip of Basic White. Layer on 3 1/4 x 1 1/4 strip of Blackberry Bliss.

  • Arrange greenery on white layer. Add sentiment with Dimensionals. Add flowers with Dimensionals.

 
 

I love these colors together, Melon Mambo and Blackberry Bliss with a touch of Daffodil Delight!

 
 

Cut Basic White inside layer 8 1/4 x 3 1/4. Stamp flowers and leaves with Melon Mambo and Granny Apple Green Ink.

Fractured Card Technique

The Fractured Card Technique is new to me and I heard about it from a challenge in a training group I belong to. It’s very easy to do and the results are amazing.

Tip & Instructions

  • Pretty Peacock Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4

  • Hello, Irresistible Designer Series Paper Layer - 5 1/4 x 4

  • Pretty Peacock Strips - 4 strips 1/4” wide

  • Basic White Label - cut using the Stylish Shapes Dies (I used the 3rd from largest).

  • Stamp sentiment with Pretty Peacock Ink on the square turning it so it becomes a diamond shape first. Adhere to the Designer Series Paper.

  • Adhere each strip along the square as show on the card. Cut off the excess from the back and adhere to card base.

  • Tie bow with Lost Lagoon Bordered Ribbon and adhere with a Mini Glue Dot.

  • Add some Pretty Peacock Tinsel Gems.

 
 

On the inside layer stamp some leaves with Lost Lagoon Ink.

 
 

For this card I used the Bright & Beautiful Designer Series Paper and Beautiful Balloons Stamp Set. The card base is Azure Afternoon and the strips are Lemon Lolly. I stamped the sentiment with Berry Burst and added Lemon Lolly Ribbon from the Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack. I added a Berry Burst Tinsel Gem to finish it off.

 
 

For the inside layer I stamped the sentiment with Berry Burst Ink, the balloons with Lemon Lolly and Azure Afternoon Inks and the tassel with Black Memento Ink. I used a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker to draw the strings.

 
 

This fun card was made using the Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper. I cut the cute dog from the Designer Series Paper using the Stylish Shapes Dies. The card base and strips are Basic Black and I glued them right to the edge of the card base. I stamped the sentiment on Basic White with Black Memento Ink and cut it out with the smallest square from the dies and then used my Trimmer to cut a 1 1/4 x 1 1/4 square to add a mat. The black Sparkle Gems give it a nice finish.

 
 

On the inside layer I stamped the sentiment with Black Memento Ink. I cut the raccoon from the Designer Series Paper using the coordinating dies.

 
 

The final card was made using the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper and Crafting With You Stamp Set. The card base and strips are Fresh Freesia and the sentiment was stamped with Night of Navy Ink. I added a bow using the Night of Navy Bordered Ribbon.

 
 

On the inside add a 4 x 3/4 strip of the Designer Series Paper.

Inked & Tiled Color Combo

One of my favorite products is the Inked & Tiled Stamp Set. The images look like pressed flowers and I thought it would be good for creating my own background design.

 
 

The color combination I used is from my monthly Inspiration Calendar. These color combos really stretch my creativity.

Tips & Instructions

  • Lost Lagoon Card Base 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4

  • Basic White Layer - 5 x 3 3/4

  • Stamp images starting with the leaves. I stamped with Lost Lagoon, stamping off twice on scrap paper to get a very light shade. Stamp flowers with Berry Burst and the little doo-dad with Blackberry Bliss Ink. (Tip - stamp images off the edge.)

  • Wrap piece of Lost Lagoon Bordered Ribbon around layer and adhere to the back. Adhere layer to card base.

  • Stamp sentiment on scrap of Basic White with Blackberry Bliss Ink. Cut label using the Something Fancy Dies. Cut the larger label from Blackberry Bliss and adhere together. Adhere to card using Dimensionals.

  • Tie bow and adhere with a Mini Glue Dot

  • Add some Berry Burst Tinsel Gems.

 
 

On the inside layer stamp leaves image with Lost Lagoon Ink, lifting and stamping a second and third time without re-inking.

Sketch Challenge - Hello Ladybug

For this week’s sketch challenge I decided to use 3 different embossing folders to create the square and then added the cute ladybug.

Tips & Instructions

  • Basic Black Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4

  • Basic White Layer - 5 1/4 x 4

  • Poppy Parade Layer - 5 x 3 3/4

  • Basic White Pieces, emboss using the Basics 3D Embossing Folders

    • 2 1/2 x 2 1/2 (dots folder)

    • 2 1/2 x 1 (flowers folder)

    • 3 5/8 x 1 (crosshatch folder

  • Adhere the pieces to the Poppy Parade Layer, then to the Basic White Layer, then to the card base.

  • Stamp leaf with Granny Apple Green on Basic White. Fussy cut and adhere to the card.

  • Stamp ladybug with Black Memento and wings with Poppy Parade and punch with Ladybug Builder Punch. (Tip, I used a stamp positioning tool to get a good, solid image.) Adhere the wings to the ladybug and then to the leaf using Dimensionals.

  • Stamp sentiment on Basic White using the Happy Labels Stamp Set with Black Memento Ink. Fussy cut around the sentiment. Adhere to the card with Mini Dimensionals.

  • Add some black Adhesive-Backed Sparkle Gems.

 
 

On the inside layer stamp sentiment with Black Memento Ink and flowers with Poppy Parade Ink.

Bright & Beautiful is the perfect name for this suite! The Designer Series Paper has bold, colorful patterns and I’ve been using the sentiments in the stamp set on lots of cards.

 
 

That white fringe strip just below the ribbon was cut using the die from the suite, It really adds a nice touch to a project.

 
 

I love the diagonal stripe and decided to continue with it on the inside of the card.

Sketch Saturday - Lighting The Way

This week’s card for the Card Sketch Challenge was made using the Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper and Lighting The Way Stamp Set & Dies.

 
 

The sketch is from the weekly Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. I used the basic design and then changed it up a bit.

 
 

Tips & Instructions

  • Basic Black Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4

  • Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper - 5 1/4 x 2 1/4 (flowers) and 5 1/4 x 2 (dots)

  • Adhere the dots pattern to the card base at the bottom leaving a border around it. Adhere the flowers pattern to the top leaving a border around it. Adhere a 5 1/4 x 1/2 strip of Basic Black over the seam.

  • Cut lantern from Basic Black using the Lighting The Way Dies. Cut a second from Lemon Lolly to get the piece for the light area. (Note, you can just cut a scrap of paper, you don’t need to cut the entire lantern out.)

  • Lemon Lolly Banner - cut banner on one end of a 3 3/4 x 1 1/2 strip. Stamp sentiment with Black Memento Ink and adhere to the card.

  • Adhere lantern to card. Add some Wink of Stella to the light pieces and adhere to lantern.

  • Cut 3 fireflies from Lemon Lolly, add some Wink of Stella and adhere with Mini Dimensionals.

 
 

On the inside layer stamp firefly with Black Memento Ink. Color the tail with a Dark Lemon Lolly Stampin’ Blends Marker. Add a 5 1/4 x 3/4 strip of the dots patterned paper.

Triangle Fun Fold Cards

The Triangle Fun Fold is so easy to make and the design is really pretty. Have fun with it by changing the patterned paper and stamp set.

Pretty Friendship Card using Happy Hedgehogs

It’s fun to use other stamps in a stamp set. This pretty tree and sweet bird is from the Happy Hedgehog Stamp Set. I made it for this week’s Color Combo.

Tips & Instructions

  • Boho Blue Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4

  • Basic White Layer - 5 1/4 x 4

  • Boho Blue In Color Designer Series Paper - 5 1/8 x 3 7/8, adhere to white layer. Wrap white Baker’s Twine around layers 3 times and adhere to the back. Adhere layer to card base.

  • Basic White - 4 x 2 1/2 - stamp sentiment, tree and bird with Black Memento Ink. Color with Stampin’ Blends. I used Dark Boho Blue and Light Balmy Blue for the bird, Light Parakeet Party for the leaves, Light Balmy Blue for the open flowers with Dark Parakeet Party for the center and Dark Balmy Blue for the flower buds. Use Dark Pebbled Path for the trunk and Dark Parakeet Party for the grass. Use Dark Pumpkin Pie for the beak.

  • Adhere stamped layer to a 4 1/8 x 2 5/8 piece of Boho Blue and adhere that to a 4 1/4 x 2 3/4 piece of Basic White. Adhere to card with Dimensionals.

  • Tie bow with Baker’s Twine and adhere with a Glue Dot.

 
 

On the inside layer stamp tree and butterfly. Color with Stampin’ Blends. Color tree like the one on the front and use Dark Parakeet Party and Light Boho Blue for the butterfly.

 
 

This is a great combination of colors for this card. It’s very sweet and pretty.

Sketch Challenge - Enchanted Butterfly

Here’s my card for this week’s Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge. This was my first time using the doily dies and I thought it was perfect for this sketch.

Tips & Instructions

  • Thick Basic White Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4

  • Berry Burst Layer - 4 x 3 1/2, adhere to left side of card base leaving a border around.

  • Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper - 4 x 1 3/4, adhere to right side of card base leaving a border around.

  • Lemon Lolly Strip - 4 x 1/2, emboss using the Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folder. I ran it through the machine twice to get the full length embossed. Adhere over the seam.

  • Basic White - 4 x 4, adhere a 3 7/8 x 3 7/8 piece of Adhesive Sheet to the back. Cut doily using the Delightfully Doily Dies. Use the Take Your Pick Die Brush to get the pieces out of the doily. Remove the release paper from back and adhere to card front.

  • Cut a circle from a scrap of Basic White using the circle die from the Delightfully Doily Dies. Stamp sentiment with Black Memento Ink (from the Charming Sentiments Stamp Set). I inked up just the word “there” and stamped it, cleaned my stamp and then inked up the word “hey,” and stamped it. Adhere the circle to the center of the doily.

  • Stamp the butterfly on scrap of Basic White. The Enchanted Butterfly Stamp Set is a reversible stamp set. Ink the back side of the stamp with Lemon Lolly and stamp. Clean your stamp, flip it over and ink the detailed side with Black Memento Ink and stamp. Fussy cut the butterfly and adhere to the white circle with a Dimensional in the body so the wings can be free flowing. Bend the wings up a little.

  • Add some white Sparkle Gems to the card putting 2 small ones on the butterfly body.

 
 

On the inside layer add a 5 1/4 x 1/2 strip of the Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper.

Tips & Instructions

  • Thick Basic White Card Base

  • Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper - 5 1/4 x 4

  • Wrap piece of Lemon Lime Twist Ribbon around the Designer Series Paper Layer and adhere to the back. Adhere layer to card base.

  • Cut 2nd from largest rectangle from Basic White using the Scalloped Contour Dies.

  • Stamp sentiment with Lemon Lime Twist Ink on the white rectangle.

  • Cut flower image from Lemon Lime Twist and a second one from Bubble Bath. Snip off the flowers from the Bubble Bath piece and adhere them to the Lemon Lime Twist Piece. Adhere to the card.

  • Tie a bow with the ribbon and adhere using a Glue Dot.

  • Add some Iridescent Pearls.

 
 

On the inside layer stamp sentiment with Bubble Bath Ink and floral pieces with Lemon Lime Twist Ink. I stamped the larger leafy image off on scrap first to get a lighter shade.

 
 

I love the details on the flower and leaves with the embossing that you get when you die cut them.

Sketch Saturday - Lazy Days

This week’s sketch was a real challenge for me….lot’s of pieces but I pulled it together using the Lazy Days Bundle and a piece of Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper. I always use scrap paper to get my measurements figured out.

 
 

The sketch is from the weekly Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.

 
 

Tips & Instructions

  • Azure Afternoon Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4

  • Basic White Layer - 5 1/4 x 4, adhere to card base.

  • Parakeet Parade Banner - 3 3/4 x 1 1/4, banner one end

  • Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper Layer (blue pattern) - 4 1/2 x 2 3/4

  • Basic White - 2 3/4 x 1/4, emboss using the Geometric Patterns Embossing Folder

  • Vellum Cardstock - cut using 3rd from largest circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies. Cut off the bottom.

  • Stamp rocking chair with Parakeet Party Ink on Basic White and cut with coordinating die.

  • Arrange pieces and adhere together and to card base. Use Dimensionals on the rocker, sticking to the vellum circle and put adhesive on the circle behind the chair so you don’t see the glue show through.

  • Stamp sentiments on 3/8 strip of Basic White with Azure Afternoon Ink and adhere using Dimensionals.

  • Add some Parakeet Party Pearls.

 
 

On the inside layer stamp hanging plant and barrel with plant with Black Memento Ink and color with Stampin’ Blends. I used Crumb Cake, Parakeet Party and Azure Afternoon.

Sweet Citrus - Thanks A Bunch

This was a fun card to make using my weekly color combo and the Sweet Citrus products. The stamp set has a coordinating embossing folder and dies, so cool.

 
 

The color combination from my Inspiration Calendar is Calypso Coral, Lemon Lolly and Petal Pink. I decided that citrus would be the perfect images for these colors. The Petal Pink really worked well for the grapefruit. You can get my Inspiration Calendar each month when you subscribe to my Email List.

 
 

Tips & Instructions

  • Thick Basic White Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4

  • Inked Botanicals Designer Series Paper Layer - 5 x 3 3/4, wrap piece of Petal Pink Ribbon around the layer and adhere to the back. Adhere layer to card base.

  • Basic White - 2 pieces cut to 4 x 2 3/4. Cut one using the small frame from the Darling Details Dies. Stamp sentiment with Calypso Coral Ink on the white layer and adhere the frame to it. Adhere to card using Dimensionals.

  • Ink the citrus rinds with Lemon Lolly and Calypso Coral. There’s plenty of space between each fruit to ink them up. Stamp on Basic White. Ink up the fruit with Petal Pink and Calypso Coral Ink and stamp into the rinds..

  • Lay the die in the Embossing Folder and the stamped images, lining them up and cut with your Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine using just the base place and 3D Embossing Plate.

  • Adhere the pieces to the corner of the frame using Dimensionals on some of them.

  • Tie bow with ribbon and adhere with a Glue Dot.

 
 

On the inside layer stamp flowers with Calypso Coral Ink and the centers with Lemon Lolly Ink. Add two 4 x 1/8 strips of the Designer Series Paper.
