Lazy Days Welcome Card

I made some Welcome Cards for my new neighbors using the Lazy Days Bundle. I moved into a townhouse with 4 units and I have a plant to give to my 3 neighbors as a welcome gift along with these cards.

I changed the colors for the chairs and sentiments on the cards but they are basically made the same way.

The chair and sentiment for this first one are done with Parakeet Party. I colored the planter with Pebbled Path and Light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.

On the inside I stamped the chair with Parakeet Party Ink and the hanging plant with Black Memento Ink. The planter was colored with Azure Afternoon and the plant with Light Granny Apple Green Ink.

Tips & Instructions

  • Azure Afternoon Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4

  • Basic White Layer - 4 1/2 x 3 1/2

  • Fresh As A Daisy Designer Series Paper - 4 1/8 x 3 1/8

  • Basic White - cut the valance piece and then cut to 4 1/8 x 3 1/8. Adhere to the Designer Series Paper.

  • Cut rocking chair from a scrap of Melon Mambo using the Lazy Afternoon Dies. Adhere to layer.

  • Stamp hanging plant with Black Memento Ink and color pot with Melon Mambo and Light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends Markers. Cut with coordinating die and adhere to layer so it hangs from the valance.

  • Stamp sentiment on 1/4 strip of Basic White with Melon Mambo Ink and trim each end at an angle. Adhere to card with Dimensionals.

  • Adhere layer to white layer and then to card base.

For this card I used Coastal Cabana for the rocking chair and the welcome sentiment. The planter was stamped with Black Memento Ink and colored with Crumb Cake and Light Granny Apply Green Stampin’ Blends Markers.
