Sketch Challenge - Ho Ho Ho

I made this card for the weekly Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge using the Take A Bow Designer Series Paper and Mini Alphabet Dies. These presents are so fun!

Here’s the sketch I used. Click on the sketch to see the other projects posted for this week.

Tips & Instructions

  • Real Red Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4

  • Basic White Layer 3 3/4 x 5

  • Take A Bow Designer Series Paper

    • Large Square - 2 1/2 x 2 1/2

    • Small Square - 2 x 2

  • Die cut the HO HO HO letters from Real Red using the Mini Alphabet Dies and adhere to the white layer.

  • Wrap ribbon around the squares. I used Cherry Cobbler & Gold Satin Ribbon and Shaded Spruce Satin & Sheer Ribbon. I wrapped it around and adhered to the back and then added a second ribbon around and adhered in the back.

  • Tie bows with the ribbon and adhere to the present using Glue Dots.

  • Adhere the presents to the white layer using Dimensionals on the small present.

  • Adhere layer to the card base.

On the inside layer (3 3/4 x 5), stamp sentiment in Real Red ink. The sentiment is from the Greetings of the Season Stamp Set. Add a 3/4 x 5 strip of the Designer Series Paper to the bottom.

I love how these presents look and the sentiment is so fun.
