Here’s the sketch I used. You can see all the projects posted for this week’s challenge by clicking on the sketch below.
Tips & Instructions
Balmy Blue Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4 and emboss the card front using the So Swirly Embossing Folder.
Night of Navy Layer - 2 x 4 1/4, adhere to the left side of the card front.
Die cut 3 circles from Basic White using the smallest Deckled Circle Die.
Stamp the images on the 3 circles in Shy Shamrock, Calypso Coral and Azure Afternoon Ink. Adhere the circles to the Night Of Navy layer.
Stamp the submarine on Basic White in Azure Afternoon ink. I used a stamp positioning tool (Misti) to get a good image by stamping it multiple times. Punch using the Submarine Life Builder Punch.
Stamp the propeller and periscope on Basic White in Calypso Coral and punch.
Adhere the submarine, propeller and periscope with Dimensionals.
Stamp sentiment on a 3/4” strip of Basic White in Shy Shamrock and adhere with Dimensionals.
Add some clear Opal Rounds.
On the inside layer (4 x 5 1/4), stamp sentiment in Shy Shamrock ink. Stamp the water in Azure Afternoon ink. Stamp the crab in Calypso Coral ink and the starfish in Shy Shamrock ink. Stamp the school of fish a few times in Azure Afternoon ink, stamping off first to get a lighter shade.
Isn’t this card so bright and fun!!!
