Happy Hibiscus Color Combo

I love our Hybrid Embossing Folders! You can die cut and emboss with one pass. Hopefully you can see the embossing on these pretty hibiscus flowers. I used the Happy Hibiscus Bundle to create this beautiful birthday card.

The Color Combo I used is from my April Inspiration Calendar - Pretty Peacock, Poppy Parade and Flirty Flamingo. You can get my calendar each month when you subscribe to my email list.

Tips & Instructions

  • Pretty Peacock Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4

  • Basic White Layer - 4 x 5 1/4, stamp the hatch pattern image in Flirty Flamingo ink randomly on the layer.

  • Stamp the hibiscus flower grouping on Basic White Cardstock in Poppy Parade ink. Emboss and die cut using the Hybrid Embossing Folder with the coordinating dies.

  • Die cut 5 leaves from Pretty Peacock Cardstock.

  • Die cut 5 small flowers from Flirty Flamingo Cardstock.

  • Arrange and adhere the flowers and leaves to the white layer. I used Dimensionals in the center of the larger flowers and then fit the leaves and smaller flowers under them.

  • Stamp the sentiment on Basic White Cardstock in Poppy Parade ink and die cut with the label die. The sentiment is from the Round We Go Stamp Set.

  • Add some Pretty Peacock Tinsel Gems to the small flower centers.

On the inside layer (4 x 5 1/4), stamp sentiment in Poppy Parade ink and the leaves in Pretty Peacock ink.

These colors really pop, I love this color combo!
