Always In My Heart Anniversary Card

I saw this background on a sample in the Catalog and had to try it. The flowers and leaves are from the Always In My Heart Stamp Set. It’s not just for Valentine’s Day!

This stamp set has great floral images and there’s a filler stamp for each to color them. I didn’t use them on this card but like the idea of having them available. The sentiment for an anniversary is just perfect.

Tips & Instructions

  • Flirty Flamingo Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4

  • Basic White Layer - 5 3/8 x 4 1/8

  • Stamp floral and leaf images randomly on the Basic White layer. I used Flirty Flamingo for the darker flowers and then used it but stamped off first for the lighter flowers. The leaves were stamped with Granny Apple Green and Pear Pizzazz Inks.

  • Wrap a piece of Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon around layer and adhere to back. Adhere layer to card base.

  • Stamp sentiment on Basic White Cardstock with Pear Pizzazz Ink and stamp some hearts with Flirty Flamingo Ink. Cut with Tasteful Labels Die.

  • Cut piece of Flirty Flamingo Cardstock with the larger Tasteful Labels Die and adhere behind stamped label. Adhere to card using Dimensionals.

  • Tie bow with ribbon and adhere using a Glue Dot.
