Sketch Saturday - Seaside Wishes

The Seaside Wishes products are retiring and on the Last Chance List. This is such a great bundle. The dies work with the embossing folder so you can cut and emboss in one pass through your machine.

I made this card for the weekly Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. Here’s the sketch.

Tips & Instructions

  • Balmy Blue Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4

  • Basic White Layer - 5 3/8 x 4 1/8, adhere to thecard base.

  • Beautiful Bokeh Designer Series Paper (blue pattern) - cut 2 pieces at 1 7/8 x 5 1/8, adhere both pieces to the card front, leaving a border all around each.

  • Die cut a piece of Basic White Cardstock using the 2nd from largest die from the Countryside Corners Dies. NOTE - THESE ARE MARKED DOWN ON THE LAST CHANCE LIST!!!

  • Emboss the white piece using the Soft Waves 3D Embossing Folder and adhere to the card.

  • Use the Seaside Wishes Hybrid Embossing Folder with Dies to die cut the sand dollars from Pecan Pie Cardstock.

  • Die cut the small detailed image from Gold Foil.

  • Stamp 2 small starfish on a scrap of Basic Beige in Pecan Pie ink and die cut using the coordinating die.

  • Arrange and adhere the pieces to the card.

  • Stamp the sentiment on a 1 1/4 x 1 3/8 piece of Basic White Cardstock in Pecan Pie ink and adhere to the card with Dimensionals.

  • Add some gold Blooming Pearls.

On the inside layer (4 x 5 1/4) adhere die cut pieces and a large starfish to the bottom corner. Cut off the overhang from the back of the card. Stamp some sand across the bottom in Pecan Pie ink.

I love all the texture with the embossed layer and images on this card.
