I made this card for the Atlantic Hearts Weekly Sketch Challenge using the Magnolia Mood Bundle and Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper.
Here’s the sketch I used. I love that it had torn paper for the background layer.
Tips & Instructions
Pebbled Path Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4
Nature’s Sweetness Designer Series Paper - 4 x 5 1/2, tear across the top and bottom. Wrap a piece of Gold Twisted Thread around the layer and adhere it to the back.
Die cut a circle from Basic White using the Spotlight On Nature Dies.
Stamp the large image from the Magnolia Mood Stamp Set on a piece of Basic White in Black Memento ink. Color the image with Stampin’ Blends Markers. I used Dark Petal Pink for the flowers, Dark Soft Sea Foam for the leaves and Light Wild Wheat for the flower center.
Die cut the flower using the coordinating die and adhere to the circle with Dimensionals.
Adhere the circle to the layer letting it hang off the side a little. Trim the overhand with paper snips and then adhere the layer to the card base.
Die cut some leaves from Pebbled Path, cut apart and adhere behind the floral image.
Stamp the sentiment on a 1/2” strip of Pebbled Path in Versamark ink. Heat emboss with Gold Embossing Powder. Adhere to the circle.
Tie bow with the Gold Twisted Thread and adhere with a Glue Dot.
On the inside layer (4 x 5 1/4), stamp the sentiment in Versamark ink and heat emboss with Gold Embossing Powder. The sentiment is from the Hooray For Surprises Stamp Set.
Stamp the flower in Black Memento ink and color with Dark Petal Pink and Dark Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blends Markers.
The Magnolia is so soft and beautiful!
