This is such a simple card but it really screams SPRING! I used the flower image from the Choose Happy Stamp Set to make it.
I made this card for the weekly Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. Here’s the sketch.
Tips & Instructions
Lemon Lolly Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4
Basic Black Layer - 4 x 5 1/4
Basic White Layer - 3 7/8 x 5 1/8
On the white layer stamp the flower image from the Choose Happy Stamp Set around the bottom and right side of the card in Black Memento Ink.
Stamp the sentiment in Black Memento Ink.
Color the flowers and leaves with Stampin’ Blends Markers. I used Dark Blends in Peach Pie, Lemon Lolly and Granny Apple Green.
Adhere the white layer to the Black Layer and then to the card base.
Add a few Peach Pie Shimmer Gems to some of the flower centers. I added 3 of them randomly.
On the inside layer (4 x 5 1/4) stamp the bee and flowers in Black Memento Ink and color with Stampin’ Blends Markers.
I think the few Shimmer Gems add a little extra interest to the card.
