My card for this week’s sketch challenge is so fun with the cute kids from the Just Kiddin’ Designer Series Paper. The banners are the “b” side of the paper and I fussy cut the two little kids from the paper.
The sketch I used is from the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge.
Tips & Instructions
Azure Afternoon Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4
Basic White Layer - 5 1/4 x 4
Just Kiddin’ Designer Series Paper Layer (striped pattern) - 4 x 2 1/4
Azure Afternoon Circle - punch using the 2 3/8 Circle Punch, cut bottom of the circle off. Stamp the sentiment (from the Bee Mine Stamp Set) on the circle in Versamark Ink and heat emboss with White Embossing Powder.
Azure Afternoon Strip - 4 x 1/2
Just Kiddin’ Designer Series Paper Banners - cut 3 different patterns at different lengths and widths. Punch one end of each strip using the Banners Pick A Punch.
Fussy cut the kids from the Designer Series Paper.
Arrange and adhere the pieces to the white layer. I laid the striped layer on the white layer and drew a pencil line across the bottom. This helped determine where to lay the banners. Adhere the banners, then the striped layer, then the circle, then the strip. Finally, adhere the kids with Dimensionals.
Add some Azure Afternoon Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots.
On the inside layer (4 x 5 1/4) stamp the sentiment in Azure Afternoon ink and the stars in Berry Burst ink. I used the Kiddin’ Around Stamp Set. Add a 4 x 3/4 strip of the Designer Series Paper to the bottom.
This card just makes me smile with those happy little kids!
