Here’s my card for this week’s Sketch Challenge from Splitcoaststampers. I used the Country Flowers Bundle and some of the new In Colors. I wasn’t sure about the new Peach Pie color but I love it, so bright and pretty.
Here’s the sketch. You can click on it to see other projects for this week’s challenge.
Tips & Instructions
Peach Pie Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4
Country Lace Designer Series Paper - the patterns I used are actually Pretty In Pink but they worked well with the Peach Pie, makes them look orange. I cut 2 different designs at 4 x 5 1/4 and put them together to cut on a diagonal. You will be able to make 2 cards with the pieces.
Basic White - 4 x 5 1/4. Adhere the 2 different patterns of the paper to the white layer and then wrap a piece of Bordered Peach Pie Ribbon around the seam and adhere to the back. Adhere layer to the card base.
Basic White - 3 1/4 x 4, stamp the teapot and flowers in Black Memento ink. Color with Stampin’ Blends Markers. I used Light Smoky Slate for the teapot, Light Summer Splash for the leaves, Light Pretty In Pink for the small flowers and Light & Dark Peach Pie for the larger flowers.
Fold bottom corner and use a Glue Dot to secure it. Adhere stamped layer to the card.
Die cut 3 flowers from Peach Pie using the Country Flowers Dies and adhere to the side of the white layer.
Add Peach Pie Resin Dots to the flower centers.
Stamp sentiment on a 1/4” strip of Basic White and cut a point at each end. Adhere to the card with Dimensionals.
On the inside layer (4 x 5 1/4) stamp bucket and flowers in Black Memento ink and color with Stampin’ Blends Markers.
