Here’s the card I made for this week’s sketch challenge using the Spruced Up Bundle and Sweetest Christmas Designer Series Paper.
The sketch is from the weekly Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. I love doing their sketch challenges.
The Spruced Up Bundle has fun images and I love that the dies cut the outline of the image separately so you have a thin outline and then a full inside. I used the tree dies and cut the trees from the Sweetest Christmas Designer Series Paper.
Tips & Instructions
Real Red Card Base - 5 1/2 x 7 1/2, score at 3 1/4
Sweetest Christmas Designer Series Paper - 5 1/4 x 3, adhere to front flap.
Cut 2 trees from the Christmas Designer Series Paper.
Garden Green - 4 x 3
Basic White - 3 7/8 x 2 7/8, adhere to green layer.
Adhere the trees to the white layer. I used Dimensionals for the larger tree and Liquid Glue on the smaller tree.
Adhere layer with trees to card making sure to put adhesive only on the left side. You don’t want it to stick on the right side to the inside layer.
Stamp sentiment with Real Red Ink on a 1/2” strip of Basic White and banner each end. I used the Banner Pick A Punch.
Banner each end of a 5/8” strip of Garden Green Cardstock and adhere behind the sentiment. Add to card using Dimensionals.
Add some Rhinestones.
On the inside layer stamp tree with Garden Green Ink. Stamp sentiment with Real Red Ink.
