Here’s the card I made for this week’s sketch challenge. It’s simple but pretty!
The sketch is from the weekly Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. It looks like it should be a slim line card but I wanted to make it an A2 (5 1/2 x 4 1/4) sized card.
The images in the Botanical Layers Stamp set are so simple but stamp so beautifully. These are great sentiments to have on hand and I love the mix of script and plain lettering in the fonts.
Tips & Instructions
Coastal Cabana Card Base - 4 1/4 x 11, score at 5 1/2 (top folding)
Basic White Layer - 5 1/4 x 4
Pretty Prints Designer Series Paper Strip (plain pattern) - 5 x 2
Pretty Prints Designer Series Paper Layer (floral pattern) - 4 x 2 1/2
Coastal Cabana Strip - 4 x 1/2, emboss using the Stripes Embossing Folder.
Assemble layers and adhere to the card base.
Cut circles using the Stylish Shapes - one from Basic White and a larger one from Coastal Cabana.
Stamp the greenery with Soft Sea Foam Ink and the sentiment with Shaded Spruce Ink.
Adhere stamped circle to Coastal Cabana circle and then adhere to card using Dimensionals.
On the inside stamp the greenery with Coastal Cabana Ink, stamping multiple times without re-inking.
