Simple Monochromatic Birthday Card

I used the Biggest Wish Stamp Set and Polished Pink to create this simple monochromatic Birthday Card! This is such a bright and pretty color for this card.

The Biggest Wish Stamp Set has big bold sentiments. You can mix them up to create the sentiment you want.

I lightly sponged the embossed layer to just pick up some color for the background layer.

Tips & Instructions

  • Polished Pink Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4

  • Basic White Layer - 5 1/4 x 4, emboss using the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. Lightly sponge layer using Polished Pink Ink and a Sponge Dauber. I rubbed off most of the ink on a piece of scrap paper first and just added a light tough to the high points of the embossed layer.

  • Wrap piece of Polished Pink Open Weave Ribbon around layer and adhere to the back. Adhere layer to card base.

  • Stamp sentiment with Polished Pink Ink on Basic White Cardstock that was cut using the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Adhere to card using Dimensionals. Add some Loose Flower Flourishes using Glue Dots.

  • Tie bow with ribbon and adhere using a Glue Dot.

On the inside layer, stamp the sentiment with Polished Pink Ink. This sentiment is from the A Grand Kid Stamp Set. Add some confetti (from Biggest Wish) if you want using Polished Pink Ink.
