Peaceful Cabin Shadowbox Card

I had some leftover floral die cut pieces from my wreath card that I made the other day. These pieces were cut using the Ever Eden Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Eden Dies.

See my Blog Post dated Oct. 27 to see the video on how to make those cards. It includes a great tip for cutting the new Cotton Paper.

In today’s video I’ll show you how to create this peaceful Shadowbox Card.

This was a very simple card to make using the floral piece as a frame for the top layer of the card.

Tips & Instructions

  • Evening Evergreen Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, score at 4 1/4

  • 2 Basic White Layers - 5 1/4 x 4. Cut center of one of the layers using the Rectangle Stitched Dies to create a window.

  • Stamp cabin with Soft Suede Ink and tree with Evening Evergreen Ink on solid white layer. Stamp the sentiment with Evening Evergreen Ink. I stamped just the “PEACE” word from the sentiment stamp.

  • Ever Eden Specialty Designer Series Paper - 5 1/2 x 4, cut using large Eden Die. Adhere to window layer.

  • Adhere window layer to stamped layer using Foam Adhesive Sheets or Dimensionals. Adhere layer to card base.

  • Add some Subtle Shimmer Sequins.

On the inside stamp two of the trees and the sentiment with Evening Evergreen Ink.
