Sketch Saturday - You Are My True North

Today’s card features the Sailing Home Bundle!

I’m following a sketch from the Splitcoaststampers Weekly Sketch challenge using the Sailing Home Bundle which is a great bundle for guy cards! I love the sentiment - “You Are My True North”.

Here’s the sketch that I followed CAS(E) this Sketch #322

Tips & Techniques

• Night of Navy Card Base - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4

• Balmy Blue Layer - 5 x 3 3/4

• Scrap of Night Of Navy - cut rope using die

• Scrap of Whisper White - Stamp lighthouse with Night Of Navy Ink and cut out with die

• Scrap of Sahara Sand - cut steering wheel with die

• Stamp sentiment on side of Balmy Bay layer using Night Of Navy Ink

• Adhere rope piece, lighthouse and steering wheel (I used a glue dot for the wheel)

• Stamp bird images

• Adhere Balmy Blue later to card base

On the inside I stamped the lighthouse going off the paper and then added the birds toward the top. I used Night Of Navy Ink.
