Beautiful Tranquil Tulips, so many options

Today I want to show you how to use the Tranquil Tulips Host set.  You can make some gorgeous tulips that have a watercolor look using this two-step stamp set.

Here are some sample cards that I made.  Check out the video to see the other colors I tried.  Its great to play with your stamps using different colors.

The tulips in this card were made with Calypso Coral and the stems are in Old Olive.  I used the Layered Leaves embossing folder to emboss one layer and adhered it to an Old Olive card base.

These tulips were stamped in Real Red and Old Olive for the stems and leaves.  It was adhered to a Real Red card base.

Last but not least, this tulip was stamped in Berry Burst and the leaves and stamp are in Lemon Lime Twist.  I used some In-Color Berry Burst DSP to ad a strip behind the Layering Ovals with the stamped image.  This was all adhered to a Whisper White layer and a Berry Burst card base.

Watch the video below to see the other colors I used to play around with the stamp set.  What fun!!!!

At Home With You

I made this card with my log home in mind.  We built a log home in Upstate New York and the entrance looks like this card, with the green door and the lights on either side.

There are a lot of pieces to make some beautiful scenes using the At Home With You bundle.

Both cards are similar but I changed up the color of the welcome mat and the floor.  I also used the embossed Pinewood Planks on one and the debossed on the other.

Check out my video for all the details on how I made these cards.

Don't Forget....Bonus Days In July!!!

For every $50 USD/$60 CAD your customers spend in July (before shipping and tax), they’ll get a $5 USD/$6 CAD Bonus Days coupon that they can use in August. No limits!

Lovely As Can Be

Today I made some sweet cards for a "Lovely" person in your life.  Aren't they nice?

I used the Lovely Inside & Out bundle which includes the Thinlits and the Sentiment.  I also used some stamps from the Eastern Beauty stamp set.

Check out the video below to see how I made them.

This card was made using Sweet Sugarplum cardstock and ink.

Fun Background Using Lovely Inside & Out

Today I made a great background for a card using the Lovely Inside & Out stamp set.  It was so easy to do and I love the way it came out.

I stamped the image in Powder Pink, Tranquil Tide and Fresh Fig randomly on Whisper White cardstock to create the background.  To get a lighter color, I stamped off first.

Take a look at the video to see how I made this card.

A Little Wild Meets Pocketful Of Sunshine

I love the way these two bundles worked together to make this fun card.   I used the A Little Wild bundle with the Pocketful Of Sunshine bundle.

Wild About You Cards.jpg

I stamped the animals from A Little Wild and cut them out with the coordinating framelits.  I cut the back off because I only needed the front of each animal.

The pocket was stamped in Dapper Denim on a piece of Color Series DSP.  Doesn't it look like a faded denim?  I cut out the pocket with the coordinating framelits.  The glimmer enamel dots add just the right touch.

Take a look at the video to see how I made this card.  I added an extra strip on the bottom of one card because I felt the pocket was adhered a little too high and left too much white space.

Sweet Baby Girl Card

This A Little Wild stamp set is just so darn cute.  I made this card for a sweet baby girl but you can switch out the colors and make it for a baby boy.

This stamp set has matching framelits and makes some really cute tags.  You can bundle it and save 10%.  I also used the Ruffled Dynamic Folder to create a deep, embossed layer.

Fun Birthday Card using the Shadowing Technique

Today I made this great birthday card using the Shadowing Technique.  It really makes the Happy Birthday sentiment POP!!!

I made this card for my future Son-In-Law.  Its a good card for a guy.  I used the Happy Birthday Thinlits and cut the sentiment twice and then offset them a little to give the shadow affect.  The splatter stamp from the Timeless Textures stamp set gives the card a fun look.

Checkout the video below to see how I made it.

Life is a beautiful thing, and oh so peaceful!

Don't you just love the color combination on these two cards?

The blue background looks like a stormy day.  The card base is Night of Navy and the sentiment was heat embossed with White Embossing Powder.

Life Is Beautiful Blue.jpg

The green background is very peaceful.  The card base is Basic Black and the sentiment was stamped in Archival Basic Black Archival Ink and then Clear Embossing Powder.

I made eight of these cards (four of each color) for a swap that I'm in with my team.  They were so easy to make.

Check out the video below to see how I made them.

Here are the dimensions for the cards:
- Card Base (Night of Navy or Basic Black) - 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 - scored at 4 1/4
- Layer of Lemon Lime Twist - 5 1/4 x 4
- Layer of Naturally Eclectic DSP - 5 x 3 3/4
- Scraps of Lemon Lime Twist for Adirondack chairs

Here is how I cut the DSP:
- Cut 3 strips of 3 3/4 (cut so blue is on top and green on bottom)

- Cut strip in half and then cut off blue end or green end (depending on which piece so you are left with a 5 x 3 3/4 layer.  You want to keep as much white as possible.

I completed all eight swap cards.  I hope everyone likes them when they receive them.  I'm looking forward to receiving mine  :)

Easy Masculine Birthday Card

Do you struggle with making masculine cards?  I sure do.  I like the Happy Birthday Thinlits because it covers a good portion of the card and looks very clean.

I used Tranquil Tide and Fresh Fig on the cards.  I think they are good "guy" card colors.

This was done using the Tranquil Tide cardstock and Ink.
